I certainly don’t need the drama of Revlon’s Black Cherry to drop out of school (maybe to pick up), so I suppose Clinique’s Black Honey would work for those cases. I moved to New York City back then, and Black Cherry made the nervous, clumsy, 21-year-old self feel very sophisticated as I wore all-black and towering high heels and moved in environments I didn’t really belong in, including Jimmy Fallon’s birthday party once upon a time. I don’t know what they’re putting in Black Cherry (and I doubt it’s vegan), but it seems to take hours, through long Zoom
meetings and three-hour classes.
Black Cherry from Revlon is perfect for my skin tone but really perfect for all skin tones, with varying degrees of intensity. I wouldn’t repeat too many of my decisions back then, but it turns out that the power of Black Cherry persists
