TRAVEL ‘n’ SIERRA LEONE

Sierra Leone is a Country in West Africa, on the Atlantic Ocean. It is known for the white-sand beaches
lining the Freetown Peninsula.
Freetown, its capital city, commemorates the Nations slave trade history, with Cotton Tree landmark and King’s Yard Gate known as refuge ground for returned slaves in the 18th
and 19th centuries.
Sierra Leone is also known globally for its blood diamonds, which were mined and sold for weapons during the Countrys violent civil war.
The official language in Sierra Leone is English, although Krio language is widely spoken as a lingua franca. It has population of about 7.9 million
persons. There are 60% Muslim, 30% Christian and 10% Animist. There are about 8 Ethnic Groups in
Sierra Leone, but the largest groups are the Mende and Temne people.

Tanzania is a country in East Africa situated just south of the equator, known for its vast wilderness and
the highest peak Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania. It has a coastline at the Indian Ocean in the
east. It is bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi and Republic of Congo to the
West and Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique to the south. It has area size of 945,000 square kilometers
and have abundant natural environment that serve as game reserve, it is a home to wildlife. It has
population of about 59.6million persons. The capital is Dodoma, although the coastal city of Dar-es
Salaam remains the principal city. There are more than 127 ethnic groups in Tanzania, each with its own
language, Swahili is the official language although English is widely spoken.

Liberia ‘n’ FASHION

Liberia is a country in the West Africa, bordering Sierra Leone, Guinea and Cote d’ Ivoire. Liberia was the first African republic to proclaim its independence, and she is Africa’s first and oldest modern republic. On the Atlantic coast, the capital city of Monrovia is the home to the Liberia National Museum, with its show case of national culture and history. Around Monrovia are palm-lined beaches like Silver and CeCe. It has population of about 5 million persons, made up of 17 ethnic groups. The dominant religion in Liberia is Christianity (86.2%), followed by Islam (11.7%) and 0.7% for other religions. Liberia is a multilingual country where more than 20 tribal languages are spoken. However, English is the official language. The native languages can be grouped into four families; Mande, Kru, Mel and the divergent Language Gola.

Lesotho ‘n’ FASHION

Lesotho, a high-altitude, landlocked kingdom encircled by South Africa, is crisscrossed by a network of rivers and mountain, with population of about 2.1million persons. Lesotho was originally inhabited by local tribes of hunter-gatherers called the Khoisan. Later came the Bantus tribes and eventually the Sotho-Tswana people. The official languages in Lesotho are Sesotho and English. It is a beautiful, culturally rich, safe and affordable country which can be easily accessed from Durban and Johannesburg.
